The Puppy Kong Classic is the original toy that started the Puppy Kong line. Made with exclusive Kong Teething Rubber Formula, the Puppy Kong Classic is available in three super-bouncy sizes (small, medium and large) and in two colours (blue and pink). Veterinarians and trainers also recommend stuffing the Puppy Kong with treats to aid in crate training, decrease separation anxiety, promote proper chewing behaviour and deter bad behaviour.

This toy is ideal for teething puppies as the gums can be massaged while the dog chews on the toy. Recommended for puppies from 8 weeks up to 6-9 months old The Puppy Kong Small is recommended for Puppies up to 10kg The Puppy Kong Medium is recommended for Puppies 5-15kg The Puppy Kong Large is recommended for Puppies 15-30kg

Kongs are primarily designed as a training and behavioural aid and unfortunately some dogs are extremely strong and tenacious chewers and will rip, bite and gnaw instead of chewing properly. No dog toy is indestructible and will not stand up to this kind of chewing even KONG! We recommend that dogs are always supervised when playing with any toy, and removed immediately if it shows signs of ripping or tearing. There are several factors to remember when buying any KONG product. Proper toy sizing - is important to ensure the dog's safety and minimize damage to the toy. Typically, toys should always be larger than the size of a dog's mouth. Any of the breeds with powerful jaws we recommend going up to a bigger size, if not the biggest in the range.
